Bell's Weekly Messenger, No.1809, Sunday, November 28, 1830

A fire broke out about four o'clock on Thursday morning, at the house of Mr. Davidson, the sign of the "Ship Aground", near the Folly bridge, Dock head. By great exertions the fire was prevented from extending farther than the house in question, which is completely destroyed. It was with difficulty that the family escaped.
