Bell's Weekly Messenger, No.1809, Sunday, November 28, 1830

Thomas Witham, the husband of the unfortunate woman who was murdered at Lambeth in August last, was brought up and underwent an examination this week. The evidence which was given was precisely the same as that on the inquest. Not one new fact was elicited to throw any suspicion on Witham. The magistrate therefore discharged him, and observed, that the imputation against him would be removed by the steps which had been adopted.
