While the family of Mrs. Stevens, of Commercial road, Chelsea, were at church on Sunday morning last, the house was entered by means of skeleton keys, and robbed of Bank notes amounting to 312l., a silver watch, several silver spoons, and other articles of property. The numbers of the notes which were stolen are known, which may probably lead to the detection of the thieves.
