Disturbances in the Collieries.

The collieries in the neighbourhood of Dudley, Wolverhampton, &c. still continue in a very disturbed state, caused by some of the colliers who have turned out for an advance of wages, committing acts of violence upon some who are willing to return to their work. The yeomanry have been called out, who are continued on duty night and day, in order to afford protection to the inhabitants; but a hope is entertained that these disturbances will shortly end, as the men and their masters have evinced a strong disposition to accommodate their dispute by mutual concessions.
