Laundry and Training Institution for Young Servants, West End house, West end Lane, N.W., opened in 1858, to receive girls of the age of 15, and to prepare them for domestic service. 40 inmates can be accommodated. Each application is decided upon by the Ladies' Committee, who meet the first and third Monday in every month. £10 is required for the admission of a girl.
