British Society for the Propagation of the Gospel among the Jews, 1, Crescent Place, Blackfriars, established 1842. Similar in object and plan to the London Society, but not exclusively a Church of England Society. 23 agents are employed as missionaries in visiting and instructing Jews, and in distributing among them the Sacred Scriptures and tracts. The income depends entirely on voluntary contributions; the amount last year was £5,987.
