ON Tuesday the foundation stone of a large Wesleyan chapel, with school-rooms, and minister-house attached, was laid in St. John's-square, Clerkenwell, by the Rev. J. Bunting, in the presence of a numerous assemblage, assisted by a body of the Wesleyan clergy. In the evening a public meting was held in the old chapel adjacent, Mr. Heald, M.P., in the chair, to promote the Wesleyan Church Extention Fund.
