Birth. At her residence, in York-street, Mrs. Gray, wife of Mr. Charles Gray, Clerk to the Naval Officer, of a son.

Deaths. On Friday morning last, of a fall from his horse, Master Hugh Piper, in his 12th year. The deceased, who was a promising and interesting youth, was the second son of John Piper, Esq. Naval Officer of New South Wales.

On the 3d instant, after a lingering and painful illness, Mrs. Sweetman, wife of Mr. Edward Sweetman, in her 38th year. The deceased was much respected.
