Home Back

The annual gathering of the friends and supporters of the Princess Mary Village Homes for Little Girls, Addlestone, Surrey, was held on Monday afternoon at Exeter Hall, and among those present were the Duke and Duchess of Tuck, and Earl and Countess Cairns. The annual report showed that of those who had left the homes since 1871, ninety-two girls had returned to their friends, ten more had been sent home by order of the Home Secretary, ten had been transferred to other schools, nine had died, thirty-three had emigrated, and seventy-one had gone into service.
