Mercers' Grammar School

Asylums and Grammar Schools

Mercers' Grammar School, College Hill, founded 1522, for 25 boys, but now supports 70. Instruction free. The boys are selected in turn by the master, three wardens, and court of the company. The school has several valuable exhibitions attached to it.
