St. Paul's School

Asylums and Grammar Schools.

St. Paul's School, St. Paul's Churchyard, founded in 1509, and endowed by Dr. John Colet, Dean of St Paul's, for the education of 153 boys of all countries. The school is under the management of the Mercers' Company, and several valuable exhibitions are connected with it. Endowment worth about £5,000 per annum. Scholars admitted under 15 years of age. The only expense is that for books.
