[Royal College of Surgeons]

Some disturbance took place in the lecture room of the Royal College of Surgeons on Tuesday evening, in consequence of Mr. Wakley, the editor of the Lancet, having interrupted the regular business by attempting to introduce a discussion upon the recent court regulations, which declare that naval surgeons shall not have the right of attending his Majesty's levee. Mr. Wakley was given in charge to an officer, and taken to Bow street. No complaint, however, having been preferred against him, he was instantly discharged. Mr. Wakley complained of unnecessary violence being used against him.
