Builders Benevolent Institution

Builders Benevolent Institution, 19, Southampton Street, Bloomsbury Square, established 1847, granting temporary relief and pensions to decayed members of the building trade or their widows, and to workmen in case of accident. There are now 29 pensioners; 3 of these were elected during the past year.

Income is about £1,900 per annum, dependent on voluntary contributions.
