Clergy Fund of the Church of England Life and Fire Assurance Institution, 5, Lothbury, established 1840. The proprietors of this Assurance Institution devote one clear tenth of their profits to the formation of a fund called "Clergy Fund," for granting aid to clergymen with limited incomes, in order to enable them to provide for their surviving families by assuring their lives in the Proprietory Branch at considerably reduced rates of premium.
Totally unassisted by donations of any time, and being of a private character, so far as this fund is concerned, no statement is rendered.
Secretary W. Emmens, Esq.
