Covent Garden Theatrical Fund, established 1765, Drury Lane Theatrical Fund, established 1776, grant annuities to members who are no longer capable of pursuing their profession; also to their widows, with allowances to their orphans. These funds are privately managed by their members respectively, and their benefits do not extend to non-members.
