Pawnbrokers' Charitable Institution

Pawnbrokers' Charitable Institution New London Hotel, Bridge Street, Blackfriars, established 1823, for providing almshouses and pensions for the aged and necessitous of the trade, and assistance of a temporary character, without regard to age. Every man and wife in the almshouses receive annually £26 and coals; a single man, £20; a single woman, £18.

Income for the past year about £900.
