The next meeting of the Grand Western Archery Society will be held in July next, at Exeter—the Mayor and other members of the Corporation having, as private individuals, consented to sign a guarantee for £250 as a reserve fund. The meeting is open to all archers, although there are challenge prizes specially intended for competition among those who reside in the western counties. Last year, at Weymouth, the aggregate value of all the prizes distributed amounted to £343.
