Strange, indeed, are the mutations of localities in this vast metropolis; and not the least remarkable of them is, that the focus of the "No Popery" Riots of 1780, should, within a lifetime, become the site of a Roman Catholic Church—the largest erected in England since the Reformation! Such is the new edifice which was opened with great pomp and ceremony on Tuesday, the 4th instant.
