The eighteenth annual concert of the Metropolitan Schools' Choral Society (5000 voices), conducted by Mr. John Hullah, took place at the Crystal Palace on Wednesday afternoon; a simultaneous gathering having been held at the Alexandra Palace, where the Refuge Children's Choral Fete was given, with 1100 voices, directed by Mr. Proudman.
