The will (dated March 1, 1852), with a codicil (dated April 30, 1873), of the Rev. Gervase Smith, Wesleyan Minister, late of Langley Villa, Leigh-road, Highbury-park, who died on April 22 last, was proved on the 28th ult. by Mrs. Mary Ann Smith, the widow, and Clarence Smith and the Rev. Alfred Owen Smith, the sons, the executors, the personal estate being over £7000. The testator leaves to his wife such of his furniture and household effects as she shall choose, and the residue of his property, upon trust, for her for life, and then for his children.
