The Earl of Shaftesbury presided at a meeting held on Saturday last at Shaftesbury House, Marine-terrace, Margate, on the occasion of the opening of the new wing of the Seaside Home of the London Young Men's Christian Association, which has been recently opened, with the object of providing a pleasant seaside resort for commercial young men requiring change for the benefit of their health or during their holidays, preference being given to members of or subscribers to the Young Men's Christian Association.
