The supply of live cattle and fresh meat from the United States and Canada landed at Liverpool last week showed a somewhat large increase in live cattle, and a slight increase in fresh meat, in comparison with the arrivals of the preceding week—the total being 1238 cattle, 3691 quarters of beef, and 111 carcases of mutton.
