Aylmer: Wills and Bequests

The will (dated Aug. 29, 1877) of Lieutenant-Colonel Frederick Charles Aylmer, late of Pendower, Tunbridge Wells, who died on March 20 last, has been proved by Mrs. Maria Anne Aylmer, the widow and sole executrix, the value of the personal estate exceeding £19,000. The testator bequeaths £6400, upon trust, for his wife for life; then as to £5000 thereof for his brother, Major-General Henry Aylmer; and as to £1400 for his nephew and godson, Frederick Arthur Aylmer. The residue of his property he gives to his wife absolutely.
