Campbell: Wills and Bequests

The will (dated June 3, 1881), with two codicils (dated April 6 and 19, 1882), of Mr. Arthur Edward Campbell, formerly a member of the firm of Messrs. A. E. Campbell, Roope, and Co., late of The Albany, Piccadilly, who died on April 27 last, was proved on May 26 by Hugh Conyngham Montgomery, the nephew, Charles Henry Roope, and Charles Martin Wade, the executors, the value of the personal estate amounting to over £58,000. The testator leaves very considerable legacies to nephews, nieces, and the children of a deceased nephew; and there are some bequests to friends and a servant. The residue of his properly he gives to his nephew, Alexander Cecil Montgomery.
