St. Peter Poor in Broad street, called le Poor, because of a Friary of the Augustine Eremites, called so begging or poor Fryers, who came from Italy about 1252, and had some Settlements thereabouts. This Parish contains but 140 Dwelling Houses. Morning Pr. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Holy days, at 11.
