A List of all the Cathedrals, Churches, and Chapels of Ease within the Bill of Mortality, withal shewing therein the sett Times of publick Prayers, receiving the Sacrament, and hearing Sermons both Ordinary and Extraordinary.

St. Giles's in the Fields, situated at the West end of St. Giles's High Street, a very antient Church, built whereon an Hospital was founded by Queen Maud or Matilda, Wife to King Henry the First, about the Year 1100, and at which Hospital all Criminals carried from London to be executed at Tyburn, were presented with a great Bowl of Drink call'd St. Giles's Bowl, to drink at pleasure as their last refreshment in this Life. This Parish contains about 3000 Dwelling Houses. Morning Pr. are daily at 10, Evening Pr. at 3; the Sac. besides the general Season, is administered every second Sunday in the Month after Morning Pr. at 7; annual S. extraordinary Jan. 30. Nov. 5. Christmas Day, and Good Friday, at 10 and 3; a Preparation S. for the Sacrament the last Sunday of the Month, and at 5 in the Evening.
