In Port-au-Prince, St. Domingo, on the 4th of July, the Lady of R. F. POUSSETT, Esq. his Majesty's Consul for that island, of a (fifth) daughter.

Sept. 6, in Wilton crescent, the Hon. Mrs. VERNON, of a daughter.

On the 3d inst, in Portman square, Lady HOWARD DE WALDEN of a daughter.

In Dublin, on the 28th ult. the Viscountess BANGOR, of a son.

On the 3d inst. at St. George's Hanover square, having been previous married according to the rites of the Roman Catholic Church by the Rev. Dr. Scott. A. MAYER Esq. to ELIZA FRANCES, daughter of J. BEDINGFELD, Esq.

At Lambeth, on the 7th inst. by his Grace the Archbishop of Canterbury, Sir R. A. ANSTRUTHER. Bart. of Balcaske, to MARY JANE, eldest daughter of the late Major-General Sir H. TORRENS, K.C.B.

On the 7th Inst. at Mary-le-Bone Church, G. I. SMART, Esq. Captain, late 70th Reg. to CATHERINE ANNA, eldest daughter of the late Sir H. HAWLEY, of Leybourne Grange, in the county of Kent, Bart.


DEATHS.

Sept. 1, at his home, in Portman square, the Right Hon. Matthew Lord ROKEBY, after a short illness.

On the 2nd inst. FRANCES ISABELLA KERR GORDON, only daughter of Lord and Lady Wm. Gordon.

At Cannon place, Brighton, suddenly, Lady HOLMES, relict of the late Major-Gen. Sir Holmes, K.C.B. of the Hon. East India Company's service.

On the 1st inst. at her house, Pershore, Worcestershire, Mrs. POOLE, relict of R. POOLE, Esq. in her 96th year.

On the 31st ult. Lieutenant-Colonel, G. D. HEATHCOTE, of the East India Company's Bengal Military Establishment, aged 45.

On the 3d inst. at King's terrace, Portsmouth, in the 20t year of his age, S. J. FOSTER, the youngest son of J. Fosteh [sic], Esq. of Biggleswade.
